Team Lead, Telematics
About The Position
Optibus is looking for an exceptional Team Lead to join our Telematics team in the challenge of moving the world smarter and more efficiently.
As a Team Lead on the Telematics Team, you will play a pivotal role in the services related with the connected vehicles and chargers, and the communication with the onboard devices installed inside those assets.
Responsibilities
- Management skills to lead a fantastic group of developers related with the telematics services
- Coordinating with product managers to understand the business needs and translate them into technical specifications
- Coordinating with the rest of the teams to create integrated services
- Making use of the development and testing capacities available in the team to produce the best technology possible
- Identifying inefficiencies in the architecture, and performance bottlenecks
Requirements
- Strong background as a Software Engineer
- Experience as Team Lead or Team Management
- Ability to understand the software stack and software architecture (such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, CSS, SQL)
- Expertise with AWS and architecting solutions around AWS managed services
- Strong social and communication skills to discuss requirements and specifications
- Ability to reach agreements with other team leaders around shared responsibilities
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- This role is a hybrid position that requires either your location within the Basque Country or your willingness to relocate.
It will be great if you have:
- Ability to participate hands-on in specific developments
