Management
- Amos HaggiagCo-Founder and CEO
Amos cofounded Optibus in 2014, combining a deep understanding of mass transportation with a deep knowledge of math and computing. He was previously a senior software development engineer at Microsoft, where he led the design and development of large-scale personalization engines for online ads, search and personal assistants. Prior to his work at Microsoft, Amos designed machine learning algorithms for Siemens and for the audience engagement platform Collarity. He is the recipient of several prestigious math and technology awards, including the Intel Prize (for software engineering), the Elkin Prize (for information technology) and the Wolf Prize (for mathematics). Amos has a bachelor's of science in mathematics and computer science from Ben-Gurion University.
- Eitan YanovskyCo-Founder and CTO
Eitan spearheads Optibus research and technology. He has extensive experience in development of complex software systems and leading R&D teams. Eitan has the passion to understand all aspects of the system, from the bits and bytes level up to the high level architecture, specializing in applying math to solve complex algorithmic problems. Eitan holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science with dean excellence from Ben-Gurion University and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University
- Jen BentleyVP of Marketing
Jen Bentley is VP of global marketing business development, deploying a wide range of marketing and business development strategies and tactics to build brand awareness, interest and adoption of the Optibus platform. Prior to joining Optibus, Jen was VP of global marketing for Veeva (NYSE:VEEV), a market leader in the vertical SaaS market.
- Kevin EnglishVP of Global Operations
Kevin English is the Vice President of Global Operations at Optibus, based in New York City. Kevin has built his 20 year career working directly with clients and software/services products. Working for firms such as IBM, IPONWEB, and Dynamic Yield, Kevin has held a range of roles from management consulting, to product management and customer success working with large Enterprises in industries such as telco, financial services, eCommerce and advertising. Kevin is passionate about helping his clients realize their business outcomes through the use of technology while growing, scaling and motivating large teams.
- Hilla Porat GoldshteinVP People
Hilla leads Optibus’ Human Resources organisation, shaping our people strategy and organizational culture. Previously, Hilla was VP HR for Bidalgo, held a series of HR roles at Applied Materials and was a diagnostician psychologist at Adam-Milo. During her career she planned, led and executed global HR strategies, led and coached HR teams, and focused on organizational growth & talent development. Hilla holds an MA in Organizational & Occupational Psychology, a BA in Psychology and a BA in Statistics, Magna Cum Laude, from Haifa university. She is also certified by the Tavistock Institute & Ofek in a psychoanalytic-systemic approach to organizational consultation and development.
- Ram GreenbergVP Product
Ram leads the Optibus product development. He has a wide experience in the product management field, software development, entrepreneurship and investment management. Ram’s experience includes software development at Microsoft, Co-founding Aniways – a contextual monetization solutions for messaging apps (technology acquired by Verizon), and managing an early stage private fund.
Ram holds an MBA from Tel-Aviv University and a B.Sc. in computer science from the Hebrew University, which he has graduated with honors.
- Maor IgerVP Finance and Legal
Maor Iger joined Optibus as its Director of Finance in 2017. He is responsible for all of the company's financial and legal affairs. Prior to joining Optibus, Maor headed finance at Tata Consultancy Services Israel. He was director of finance and legal at Divinetworks, a Data Delivery Network Provider. Prior to that, Maor trained both in law and in accounting. He holds a MBA from the Tel Aviv University, and a BA in Accounting and Finance and LLB from The College of Management.
- Uri ShalitVP R&D
Uri leads the Optibus research and development. As the tenth employee to join Optibus, Uri has played a fundamental role in the development of each module and the recruitment of nearly every member of our R&D team. Prior to Optibus, Uri led teams at both Conduit and Alooma - his code has reached hundreds of millions of users around the world. Uri holds a B.Sc. in computer science from Ben Gurion University.
- Ronen AvrahamGeneral Manager LATAM
Ronen leads Optibus LATAM team and business expansions in the region. Israeli born; he has been leaving in the region for the past 20 years. Ronen led the implementation of complex technology solutions for main telecommunication companies, as well as the introduction and commercialization of new products and services for several governments. With footprint in most countries, dominance in all local languages and cultures, and backgroung in both start up and blue chip companies, he brings the ability to bridge the cultures and grow the business. He holds an executive MBA degree from Tel Aviv University.
- Shaun BretsteinGeneral Manager APAC, South Africa & Israel
Shaun leads APAC, South Africa & Israel at Optibus and is responsible for expanding our growth in those regions. Shaun is a seasoned business professional with over 18 years of global experience with a mix rich of customer facing roles. Prior to joining Optibus, Shaun held senior management and delivery positions in global enterprises, consulting practices as well as startup companies. Shaun holds a BA in Computer Sciences from The Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo (MTA).
- Dave JoshuaGeneral Manager EMEADave Joshua is Optibus' general manager for Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, and is highly experienced in analytics, big data and optimization projects for leading FTSE and Fortune 100 companies. As the first employee on the ground in the region four years ago, he has seen Optibus grow from a successful start-up to one of the largest transport tech companies in our space. Dave is a former Global VP Sales for technology services providers Romonet and Canara, and is the founder of a not-for-profit technology graduate platform that launched from Google’s London HQ in 2012. Dave speaks five languages, possesses multiple accreditations in ML, BI and data strategy, and has a passionate interest in mobility solutions.
- Angela MillerGeneral Manager North America
As the General Manager of North America, Angela leads all of Optibus’ North America operations, spanning sales, partnerships, customer success, and more. Angela will drive the expansion of Optibus in the region, increasing adoption of our end-to-end software platform across the public transportation industry and helping clients to make their operations more efficient, equitable, and sustainable. Prior to joining Optibus, Angela led technology, mobility, and sustainability teams in the public and transportation sectors. Angela deepend her commitment to public transportation at the North County Transit District (NCTD) as CIO/CTO and Chief Sustainability Officer, at Cubic Transportation Systems as Director of Worldwide Customer Solutions, and through strong participation in the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) as multiple committee chairs, board of directors, and Leadership APTA 2011. She also helped build Deloitte Consulting’s public transportation practice in the US.
- Ehud RokachChairman
Ehud is a seasoned tech executive and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience as founder, CEO, and GM of multiple startups and businesses. Ehud’s background spans IT, Telecom, and Networking. Prior to joining Optibus, Ehud co-founded XtremIO, an IT infrastructure company and an innovator in Enterprise Flash Storage. Following its acquisition by EMC Ehud served as SVP and GM with Dell EMC, establishing XtremIO as market leader and growing its business to more than $Billion in revenue. Previously Ehud served as co-founder and CEO with Corrigent Systems and COO with Orckit Communications. Earlier in his career Ehud held engineering and operations positions with an elite technology unit of the Israeli ministry of defense.
Ehud holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the Technion, Israel, and an MBA (Cum Laude) from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

- Prof. Avishai CederProf. Avishai Ceder
Prof. Ceder is a worldwide expert and leader in the field of public transportation. He received B.Sc. (1971) from the Technion, Faculty of Industrial and Management engineering, M.Sc. (1972) and Ph.D. (1975) on the subject of Transportation with emphasis on Operations Research and Human Factors, at the University of California at Berkeley, USA. In 2007 he became Professor – Chair in Transportation, within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering University of Auckland. Prof. Ceder is the Founder and was the Director, until 2014, of the Transportation Research Centre (TRC).
Prof. Ceder was the Head of the Transportation Engineering and Geo-Information Department at the Technion, the Chief Scientist at the Israel Ministry of Transport from 1994 to 1997, and the Israel delegate to the Transport Program of the European Community. He was a visiting Professor twice at MIT, the University of California at Berkeley, and at Universities of Hong Kong and Tokyo, and he is a member of various international symposia and workshops (e.g., ISTTT, CASPT).
Prof. Ceder is the author of two books: ‘Public Transit Planning and Operation: Theory, Modelling and Practice’, and the 2nd edition ‘Public Transit Planning and Operation: Modelling, Practice and Behavior’.
- Dr. Robert Ishaq
Dr. Robert Ishaq is a Technion graduate with a PhD in transportation engineering. He is a research associate at the Transportation Research Institute and a lecturer at the Technion Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research interests are in the field of demand modeling and decision making models.
In addition to his work as a researcher, Dr. Ishaq is a consultant for public infrastructure companies on issues such as strategic transportation plans and demand modelling for public transport planning. Some of his projects include: The Metronit, Haifa’s BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) system plan and multiple transportation master plans and public transportation design projects.
- Enrique Fernandez-Pino
Mr. Fernandez-Pino believes in technology as a tool for creating more sustainable, vibrant cities, and for building profitable, purposeful businesses that serve both shareholders and society. In his advisory role, Mr. Fernandez-Pino brings to Optibus his decades of experience leading award-winning, large digital transformation programmes spanning e-commerce, CRM, web, and mobile apps, and rolling out Model 2 contactless and Automated Delay Repay (ADR) programmes for transport, both unique in the world at the time of implementation.
In his current role as Senior Partner at Digital Works Group, a consulting firm specialising in digital solutions, Mr. Fernandez-Pino is responsible for the Marketing, Change, and Technology division, which includes product development, marketing, project and programme management, and technology and cybersecurity.
From 2014-2020, he served as the Group Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of the Go-Ahead Group, a leading transport provider of bus and rail services within the UK and a FTSE250 company. Prior to this, he worked in senior roles both for Tesco (2000-2012) and Marks & Spencer (1993-2000).
Mr. Fernandez-Pino is an alumnus of ICADE University (Spain’s equivalent to Oxbridge), and has a first-class honours degree in Corporate Law.
- Mark Joseph
As the CEO of Mobitas Advisors, Mark advises early- and mid-stage growth companies as well as big
strategics in the mobility space. Mark's expert advisory includes strategic evaluation, operating advice, financing and regulations guidance, and introductions to investors, partners, and customers.
Prior to Mobitas, Mark spent more than 15 years in various leadership roles at Transdev, a leading private provider of transportation services in 19 countries, including bus, commuter rail, streetcar, light rail, paratransit, taxi, shuttle and black car. Mark grew the business from $50 million to $1.5 billion in annual revenue. In addition, Mark had responsibility for the UK, Ireland, and Latin America.Mark is a strong advocate of the importance of mobility in improving quality of life, economic development and social equity in cities. He has lectured at the Harvard Kennedy School, Wharton School of Business, the Yale School of Management, and the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
