Sales Executive


About The Position

Optibus is a software company that leverages the power of machine learning and optimization algorithms to redefine the way mass transportation is planned and operated. Optibus’ disruptive technology is currently deployed in more than 320 cities worldwide, helping to improve the quality of service, increase efficiencies, save money and streamline operations.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the sales of the Optibus platform in Brazil and for the achievement of yearly sales and revenue targets. You will accomplish your objectives by identifying, developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with prospects, customers and partners.

As a Sales Executive, you will manage the full sales process, from identifying and generating leads to leading all sales activities, diving deep into prospects’ business challenges and advising on impactful solutions. You will give outstanding presentations (primarily at top-management level) and demos as well as manage pilot engagements.

This role is remote, and you would be working from home and reporting to our Brazil HQ. Frequent travel will be required.

You will be responsible for the complete sales cycle:

  • Identify key prospects within an assigned territory
  • Generate sales leads by exchanging with potential customers
  • Continuously and consistently build and manage an appropriate level of pipeline to support quota and sales cycles
  • Present Optibus value proposition
  • Conduct product demonstrations
  • Qualify sales opportunities
  • Engage and work with internal resources
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs
  • Lead negotiations to a successful close
  • Attend industry conferences & tradeshows


  • 5 years experience in B2B SaaS sales - a must 
  • Experience in selling software solutions to the transportation industry - a must
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise deals over 500k Reais.
  • Ability to interact and develop relationships at managerial and executive levels
  • Excellent verbal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • A true hunter-type salesperson with obvious hunger, passion and people skills
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding target in past roles
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English

Preferred Experience:

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Experience of working in start-up and hyper growth environments
  • Comfortable self-starter with high level of autonomy who understands how to communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders
